Ms. O's Nursery

(*update: See Olivia's almost finished room here.)

I won't be posting any current pics of Miss O's nursery, as it is presently the dumping grounds for all things baby (and not). The walls will stay the same neutral grey colour as for Alex's Nursery (first set of furniture boards) and the furniture will remain.

I changed out the artwork and crib sheets, and added a mobile from Artecnica (which is unfortunately back-ordered for another month, a recurring theme). The nursery was always gender neutral, so it really only needs a few feminine accessories. I hope to have it "camera ready" in the next day or two.

What I am most excited about is the Bloom Alma mini crib that just arrived. I really didn't have a good sleeping solution for Alex in the first few months of life (he hated being in his crib), and this sturdy little crib sits on casters and fits through doorways.

I found the most gorgeous giclee prints on Etsy, by an artist named Helen Dardik. Here is a link to her Etsy store. These are the ones I decide on; honestly, it was hard to narrow them down.

Alex really isn't the only one who doesn't like his crib. We purchased the Romina Karisma crib (shown left) before I realised you really can safely purchase nursery furniture online. Because if I had realised, I definitely would have ordered the Dwellstudio Mid-Century Crib in White (shown in the Alex nursery furniture board).

I took a big risk and ordered the Monte Luca Glider sight unseen. I'm not going to pretend it's the most comfortable piece of baby furniture I've ever sat upon but it certainly is the most stylish. Monte really does have a good selection of stylish gliders, and they've expanded their line into other furniture too.

The "Rabbit Patch" crib sheet is from a company called "Little Auggie." I absolutely love the pattern and it really ties all of the colours together. It's one of the pricier crib sheets I've seen but the quality and pattern is far superior too.

I plan to spend the weekend getting Miss O's room ready for her impending arrival. Will update with pictures then.
