I neglected to mention this on my blog (despite my wanting to scream it from the rooftops) that I will now be an Editorial Contributor for Apartment Therapy. I didn't want to jinx it, put the cart before the horse, etc. but my first post went live on Monday and I think it was rather well received, judging from the number of pins it got on Pinterest (as of this writing, over 200 "first degree" pins in under 48 hours). I can't tell you how surreal it is to have companies I follow (Serena and Lily!) pinning my work.
I've had to change the format of my style boards a little to fit with AT's layout. I was a little disappointed at first because it feels like twice as much work to create one layout for my blog and another for AT. Believe it or not, there's more to it than just throwing some images into Photoshop. Each board takes hours and hours- even deciding how to compose the images on the page is so time consuming (maybe too much of a perfectionist?). But then I realised this may simplify the process quite a bit. I'm just going to do one layout and then, for my blog image, keep my little table top setting on the bottom.
I have another "kids style board" going live on Apartment Therapy on Friday. The theme is "Beyond the North Sea"- a Scandinavian take on "La Mer/ Beyond the Sea." I'll post a link to it on this site but you'll be able to find it here.
And for your viewing pleasure- the image for my first AT style board.
